Day 4: Woof

Family Emergency, gotta blast…

Today I realized I need to leave ASAP. The 1st day I was in Pala, CA I realized the Wwoof home I was living in was flea infested with 6 dogs and very unclean living conditions. The house is nasty, to be frank. There is poop awaiting you in the kitchen, the moment you wake up. There are 6 dogs that are infested with fleas, open windows and doors during the night, and mysterious flying critters at night. At this point, I am sleeping with ALL of my clothes on as well as boots because the living rooms’ bed is visibly unclean and there are countless critters within the house.

I am going to remain positive until I am able to leave and return back to Atlanta.

Day 3: Wwoof

Day 2: “Indian” Reserve via Mount Olympus Farm

Today I picked wild lettace, trimmed the hedges, cleaned stalls, and celebrated 1 year with a painting and sold it 2 days short of the celebration. :) Today was a goo day!

Layover #1 was at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. The anticipation was everything as I waited patiently for the next connecting flight… However, I managed to keep my mind occupied with my Bristol Sketchbook and new read.
